Top 10 Korean Movies You Must See

Are you a fan of Korean movie? Or haven’t you seen any Korean movie yet? Then watch this Top 10 Korean movies, hope you fall in love. There are numerous Masterpieces movies in Korea, so here is a list of the Top 10 Korean movies I’ve seen.

A Man Who Was Superman (2008)

The story of this movie, the story of a Superman living inside every human being. We can bring Superman inside us, we can change the future if we want. Living inside of us with the power of Superman. The first 1 hour of the movie will make you laugh a lot and the last 40 minutes of the movie you will find new life story ‍and with that you will cry a lot. Like a Movie Dialog- “You can’t open the door to success with power, but with a little key you can open that door. And this key is inside of us, which opens the door to our future.” The movie is number one on my favorites list.

Snowpiercer (2013)

The depth of the movie Snowpiercer is a lot. It’s not just a movie, it’s a story of the rich inequality of our lives and society. Every day, the rich do injustice and discrimination to the poor. In the same way, the movie depicts the discrimination of the rich in the metaphorical sense. The movie ranks second on my favorites list.

Sunny (2011)

This movie is a friendship story, it’s a story of 7 idiots. Much like Bollywood Amir Khan’s 3 idiots movie. It’s a story of people’s lost past. The story of every human being coming at a time of difficult reality. In my view the movie seems to be the best movie of the time. Ranked third on my favorites list of Korean movies.

Pandora (2016)

Pandora is one of the most terrifying movies I’ve seen in Korean movie history. The main plot of the movie’s story is about the horrors of the destruction of the nuclear power plant. Scenic view from beginning to end. 10 minutes after the movie’s last, sure this scene to shake your chest. The movie is ranked fourth on my favorites list.

1987: When the Day Comes (2017)

So far in Korea, this movie has been the best movie based on socialist slander, history, tradition, student movement etc. The movie depicts Korea’s authoritarian regime. Which in my view makes this movie fifth on my favorites list of Korean movies.

Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War (2004)

Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War is a movie based on a story about an elder brother jumping into battle against enemies and saving his younger brother in the battlefield. In this movie, to save and care of his younger brother, to save him from danger, Elder Brother jumps into a tragic and cruel war. After watching this movie, another feeling does works inside the chest. In my view, this movie ranks sixth on my favorites list.

A Taxi Driver (2017)

Guangzhou city’s student protests against military rule, A German journalist and a taxi driver contributed to show the movement to the outside world. This exact image appears in this movie. The director has been able to convey this extraordinary story in this movie A Taxi Driver. Which in my view, the movie ranks seventh on my favorites list.

The Battleship Island (2017)

The Battleship Island movie depicts the brutal atrocities committed by Japanese on Korean coal workers. This real image is erupted in this movie. Which, in my view, places this movie eighth on my favorites list.

Ode to My Father (2014)

To escape the Chinese forces in the 1950 war, Fleeing from North Korea to South Korea, The elder son of the family who commits to the father, who will take care of his family. And the older son of the family does it properly. He keeps the word given to his father in the midst of hundreds of hardships. Ode to My Father movie is ranked ninth on my list of favorites in my view.

Parasite (2019)

This movie is basically the story of an parasite in the family to me. As a family is made up of joy, pain, laughter, crying, lack of grief, sadness. Just like in this movie, to end the poverty of a family, entering another family, living like a parasite- the main story of the parasite movie. This movie ranked 10th on my favorites list.

Miracle in Cell No 7

In 1997 a history-driven Italian movie titled Life Is Beautiful was released. The movie tells the story of Hitler’s persecution of German forces. The movie is made up of love-affecting father-son tragic emotions. Which is later in 2013, The father-daughter story is mixed with the Korean Emotional Spice named Miracle in Cell No 7 movie. To me though, the Italian movie is my favorite. But here is the Miracle in Cell No 7 movie as a Korean movie to be at the eleventh place on my list of favorites.
